Took these this weekend up Big Cottonwood Canyon here in Salt Lake. Seems like its hard to capture the vibrancy of the colors, but I think these turned out okay.
Janae--I have to echo Erin. The contrast of the yellow aspen and the green in the background is really effective. It IS tricky to catch the vibrancy of the fall colors, but you caught it.
Janae, I agree about the striking yellow leaves in front of the steady green tree - very effective. But my favorite is #2: the almost-monochromatic look is soothing. As simple as it is, it definitely speaks "fall"; it reminds me to look down too! ML
My name is Janae and I live in Salt Lake City Utah. I am married to Travis and we are the parents of 2 daughters. Paisley is 2 1/2 and Regan was just born August 28th 2007. I am excited to try these assignments.

Nice pictures! I especially like the contrast between the yellow and the green in the first picture.

Love the yellows! It just warms up the fall to me. Great job!
