my favorite things...

Sorry I couldn't resist posting some more pictures of the girls.

mmmm Marshmellows. This morning Paisley came downstairs to find some M&M's and skittles on the table. She said "oh M&M's and mosquitoes my favorite!"

Yeah she is eating this big ugly chunk of plastic that who knows where its been.

Paisley loves her new "lollypop" dress

Here is my assignment, for Travis...The top one was taken with a f stop of 2 and the bottom one is with a
f stop of 8, I think the top one looks the best, although it looks a little dark.

Took these this weekend up Big Cottonwood Canyon here in Salt Lake. Seems like its hard to capture the vibrancy of the colors, but I think these turned out okay.

Assignment-Triptych

This was a lot of fun. I decided since it was approaching Halloween I thought I would give shooting tombstones a try. There were so many interesting ones I couldn't decided. I tried a b&w conversion but I think the midnight sepia looks better. It gives it kind of an old creepy look. So I think these 3 would look really good together.

Assignment-Excitement

Thanks for taking a look. I just want to start by introducing myself. My name is Janae Cooper and I live in Salt Lake City Utah. I have 2 daughters Paisley and Regan. Regan was born on August 28th 2007. We are excited to have her join our family. I hope that I will be able to participate often in these assignments. My husband Travis also loves Photography, and is actually the one who suggested we start doing these challenges. He found another group to join so I will be doing this one. When I emailed Pat I had no idea that you were all in a ward. I am LDS also, just a little further away. I actually was born in Seattle and lived there until I was 8 when my father died and we moved back to Utah where our family was. My parents spent their whole married life up there. I have many fond memories of going to the beach and mountains. Seattle is a awesome place. Travis would also love to live there. He is still trying to convince me....maybe someday. He is a computer programmer so Microsoft would be a good fit.

Excitement for me would be best described as the birth of our daughter Regan. She was 7 days late so we were really really excited to get her here. Her big sister Paisley had the greatest excitement. She love to help, sometimes a little too much if you know what I mean. So this week I am cheating because Travis actually took all these pictures.
