Took these this weekend up Big Cottonwood Canyon here in Salt Lake. Seems like its hard to capture the vibrancy of the colors, but I think these turned out okay.

Janae--I have to echo Erin. The contrast of the yellow aspen and the green in the background is really effective. It IS tricky to catch the vibrancy of the fall colors, but you caught it.

Janae, I agree about the striking yellow leaves in front of the steady green tree - very effective. But my favorite is #2: the almost-monochromatic look is soothing. As simple as it is, it definitely speaks "fall"; it reminds me to look down too! ML
